BeeBond® Black High-Strength Acrylic Foam Mounting Tape

BeeBond® Black is a permanent, double-sided acrylic foam mounting tape that replaces screws, nails, and rivets — with no drilling and no surface damage.

The conformable black acrylic foam core wets out across the full bond line and distributes stress evenly, so mounted parts stay put through vibration, movement, and weather. Bond strength builds after application and keeps building as the foam settles into the surface.

Best for

Automotive panels and trim, metal fabrication, signage, and general industrial mounting where a strong, clean, fastener-free bond matters. The black core blends into dark assemblies and shadow lines.

Which size?

Both rolls are 1 inch wide. Choose the 18 ft roll for single projects and trial runs; choose the 36 ft roll for production work — the longer roll works out to less per foot and keeps the line moving. Running a bigger job or a repeat application? Ask us about samples and a quote for your volume.

Works well on

Glass, metal, marble, ceramic, tile, smooth sealed painted surfaces, automotive panels and trim, and most plastics — excluding polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Not suitable for: PE or PP plastics, textured or unfinished walls, delicate finishes, wallpaper, rough plaster, or dusty, chalky, or oily surfaces.

Quick directions

1. Clean both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and let them dry completely.
2. Cut the length you need using the sizing table below.
3. Apply the tape and press firmly across the whole bond — about 20 seconds at roughly 15 psi — working from one end to the other to keep air bubbles out.
4. Remove the liner, position the part carefully (avoid repositioning once applied), and press again.
5. Do not stretch the tape more than 4% during application.
6. Allow 24 hours for maximum bond strength before loading the joint.

Values are approximate and vary with surface condition, preparation, temperature, and load direction. Always test on your own surfaces before full use — start with a sample if the application is new.
